Greek Orthodox and Syrian Orthodox are two separate branches of the Eastern Orthodox Church. The Greek Orthodox Church is one of the oldest Christian denominations, tracing its roots back to the early Christian communities in Greece. The Syrian Orthodox Church, also known as the Syriac Orthodox Church, has its origins in the ancient Christian communities of the Middle East, particularly in Syria and the surrounding regions. Both churches have their own distinct traditions, liturgies, and hierarchies, but they share the same core beliefs and are part of the larger Eastern Orthodox communion. **

Orthodox Greeks typically pray at home by creating a designated prayer corner or icon corner in their house, where they place icons, candles, and other religious items. They often use prayer books or prayer ropes to guide their prayers, and may follow a specific prayer rule or schedule. The prayers themselves are usually a combination of set prayers, such as the Lord's Prayer and the Jesus Prayer, as well as personal prayers and intercessions. Many Orthodox Greeks also incorporate the use of incense and the sign of the cross into their home prayer practices. **

Orthodox Christianity is neither evangelical nor Catholic in the sense of the Protestant evangelical movement or the Roman Catholic Church. Orthodox Christianity is a separate branch of Christianity with its own distinct traditions, beliefs, and practices. It is considered one of the three main branches of Christianity, alongside Catholicism and Protestantism. Orthodox Christianity places a strong emphasis on tradition, liturgy, and the authority of the early church fathers. **

The Romanian Orthodox Church has its origins in the Greek Orthodox Church. The Romanian Orthodox Church was established in the 19th century, and it was initially under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. Over time, the Romanian Orthodox Church developed its own distinct traditions and practices, while still maintaining close ties with the Greek Orthodox Church. The Russian Orthodox Church, on the other hand, is a separate entity with its own history and traditions. **

The difference between orthodox and ultra-orthodox lies in the level of adherence to traditional religious practices and beliefs within Judaism. Orthodox Jews generally adhere to traditional Jewish law and customs, but may also engage with modern society to varying degrees. Ultra-orthodox Jews, on the other hand, tend to strictly adhere to traditional religious practices and often live in more insular communities, with limited engagement with secular society. Ultra-orthodox Jews also typically place a strong emphasis on Torah study and religious observance. **
