Both Snape's and Sirius' deaths are tragic in their own ways. Snape's death is sad because he spent his life in love with Lily Potter and ultimately sacrificed himself to protect her son, Harry. On the other hand, Sirius' death is heartbreaking because he was wrongly accused and spent years in Azkaban, only to finally find freedom and a sense of family with Harry before being killed. Ultimately, both deaths are equally sad, as they both represent the loss of complex and deeply flawed characters who were fighting for what they believed in. **

I find "Grave of the Fireflies" to be sadder than "Clannad." The heartbreaking story of two siblings struggling to survive during World War II in "Grave of the Fireflies" evokes a deep sense of tragedy and loss. On the other hand, while "Clannad" has its emotional moments, the overall tone is more hopeful and uplifting, making it slightly less sad in comparison. **
